Yes they do! They are made with a material that is solid and hot water cannot penetrate.

I do suggest getting yourself a really nice pair of slip resistant shoes however. I have a pair of Dr.Martens steel toe boots that are 10/10 work efficient. They run about 98.00 on Amazon. Those will last you forever. My friends at work with vans or any other shoe with a single/double layer of material get their shoes torn into because of some sharp edges on the bottoms of counters. Also, any non slip resistant shoe will track dirt around when you guys mop the floor.

can agree ! i used to work with vans and they got beat up switched to docs total game changer and didn’t even give me a hard time breaking into them

Also, check out Shoes for Crews. Gotten several pairs from them. My current boots are a little beat up but I have worn them every day for the past year. So comfortable and I can run through water, lol. Plus they let you pay in installments!

I second the use of non-slip shoes! Worked for the company for 8+years and I’ve never understood why they moved away from requiring no slips. With how much liquid gets spilled and how often wet floors are a thing I’m always terrified for the little green beans slipping and sliding around trying to make drinks while floors are being done.

I wore these for awhile but just remember that if you step in a puddle they’ll turn into ice skates and you’ll slip

wait why did i not know about these?? i LIVE in vans and refuse to wear my normal slip one so they don’t get ruined in 5 minutes
