Anxiety about calling Partner Contact Center(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by misscerh
Hello friends,
I'm having an issue with a male SSV and I am getting to a point where their behavior has become a pattern I really can't ignore. Without going on a rant, basically I am upset by this person's habit of mansplaining and tone policing. I don't feel safe enough to confront the individual directly and don't feel safe going to my SM. I really want to connect with someone at Partner Contact Center and I think I have the right number now but I don't want anyone to know. In a perfect world the behavior would stop and I could go back to not being talked down to when my bar suddenly gets 25 mobile orders I didn't see .5 seconds ago.
Any advice or open DMs for venting would be appreciated.
*my actual feelings and perception of the issue's severity has been truncated for my own comfort*

Is there a reason you dont feel comfortable going to your manager?

Yes. What's the reaction going to be when I argue that our POQ is exhibiting sexist behaviors and it's affecting my experience at work?

I would hope deeply concerned if your manager is doing their job
