I started working in the pandemic so I never saw my coworkers faces and I couldn’t recognize most of them without the mask lol

their face that i made up in my brain just doesn’t match the face under their mask...

Right like it is a big shock to see people without the mask

I got pretty eyes but chipmunk cheeks. The mask made me feel special. 🥰 Plus I was the only partner with dyed hair at my store. It was bright purple and I wore it pigtails down my side.

One of our new new transfers HAD A SECRET BEARD?! he took off his mask to eat his lunch and everyone was just like “BEARD?? BEARD BOY??”

I take it off when I eat so sometimes people will see mine on my breaks.

Even without a mask I don’t recognize one of my partners, mainly because how his hair is I feel bad as when I’m CS and doing walk up. I make him wait to help him as I’m washing my hands in reality he just wants let in. 🥴

I have so many partners that started since the pandemic started and they're always shocked when I go to eat my lunch. It inevitably goes like

"I don't think I've ever seen your face!"

"Yeah, that's kind of the point."

i don’t take of my mask at work bc what if my face isn’t what they thought it would look like 😭

It's fun to see if their face matches with what my mind thought they'd look like

Literally me today seeing someone's face for the first time.

The common reaction to my maskless face is, "wow you're *actually* pretty!" Like okay thanks guess I have bland eyes or something.

I transferred a few months ago and yup every time I see someone it’s like !!?!!! That’s not the face my brain invented for you
