Clean the printer. It’s thermal and if the connectors are dirty it will do this.

Yep. They should be in a rectangular white box that is probably about 7 inches long by 3 inches.

The cleaning strip looks like an index card with rounded corners, inside that box they’re plastic, individually wrapped printer cleaner swabs.

It might be kept underneath or near the register....Or where your recovery cards and gift cards are.

You may have to get on your hands and knees and move things around until you find the printer cleaner cards. Your SM or Shift should know where these are, but you might be on your own trying to locate it.

Basically, you open up the printer and insert it into the machine and shut the lid back down and you pull it through several times slowly to clean the area. The index card sheet is damp and made of felt.

The box that they come in looks a lot like gift card boxes and recovery card boxes except this is bigger...you can pick it up and feel that it’s really light weight.

My only problem wasn’t cleaning it, it was locating the cleaner cards where they were kept. 😆
