Had someone come through today and ask us to make a drink that reminded us of spring. The next person in the car asked us to make a drink that made us think of their name... ...excuse me what!?!?

Have also been asked to make a drink that reminded us of soccer...

I don’t mind doing surprise drinks every so often but come on.

I give them iced chais with cinnamon dolce and almond milk every time. Not disgusting and it's easy for my bar baristas, and I still get to upcharge them for some stuff.

Goes without saying but you should ask about dietary restrictions so you don't have an issue with the nut milk. I also do iced chais, but I won't add a different milk until I know the sitch

Crying - when I clocked on and got put on drive in the middle of peak and the first customer I talk to starts yelling at me insisting we have vanilla almond milk we are just hiding from him and telling me that we can’t use vanilla syrup and almond milk instead.

I usually make a "joke" about how I've been worked to the bone and profusely apologize that my brain power has been completely absorbed by someone screaming at me earlier, leaving me with barely enough energy to make it through rushes, let alone tap into my creative side...and usually that makes them uncomfortable enough to just give me an order like an adult.

I'm here to make your drink. I am not pintrest. I am not your starbucks magic 8 ball. And I am NOT dealing with someone who complains about a drink they did not like that they asked to be "surprised" by. Calling all customers, please don't be that guy. You'll get an americano from me.

Yup, was about to comment her TikTok name. She’s known for ‘another day another Starbies’ 🤮
She goes in, blurbs of how she goes to Starbucks and reviews drinks from her followers and asks them to make drinks she thinks she will like.
The funniest one I watched, the girl ringing up the order said she didn’t drink stuff from Starbucks so she wouldn’t be any help, so she asked another worker. 😂

Someone asked me for a drink of my favorite color. Decent idea, but the only colored drinks we have are refreshers or tea, which they had already gotten multiple of. I made them a violet drink but I wish I had made them a black coffee
