That’s definitely a nightmare.

The only real advice I can give you is to mentally step back and remember that this is just a job.

Seriously, I can tell you’re most likely a hard worker by nature, which is why you’re so invested in the store and what is happening to it.

But, this isn’t your store. You don’t own it. You don’t make more or less money if it succeeds or not. Angry customers won’t be any less rude even if you’re trying your best.

Essentially, remember that there are people (management) who get paid to worry about these things. You don’t get paid for that.

So just do the best you can, help train your newbies the best you can. Even if you’re not trained, just keep everyone consistent. Don’t run around trying to do everything at once. Just work at a reasonable pace.

Customers can wait. They won’t like it, but that’s beyond your control. The sooner you can acquire this mentality, the sooner you’ll be more calm at work.
