wait you guys are getting hours?

I’m scheduled 48 hours this next week 😂😭 Heavens knows I’m going to end up doing 50

I like when my store refuses to schedule the people who want more hours but over schedules the people who don’t want more hours and disregards their availability

I’m at a point where I work so much they don’t ask to extend/pick up a shift bc I’ll do overtime. It’s nice bc I know what to expect but I’m also getting home at 1am bc I’m always closing. Not a complaint, I love watching ppl tug at the door when our lobby is closed and pulling into the DT after that’s closed too. It’s great.

Scheduled: 10 hours
Punched: 36 hours

That's what happened to me when I worked at Pizza Hut. They scheduled me nine hours a week and called me in every day randomly. I didn't like not being payed to basically be on-call.

Man I miss being able to just work all I want. I used to accumulate so much overtime that our DM would have a heart attack and force my manager to give the shifts I would pick up away. At one point I had picked up so many shifts that I was set to work a 60hr week one week then a 50hr week the next. Our DM literally had a meeting with the managers in my district about offering more help to other stores with coverage bc one person (me) shouldn’t be the only one picking them all up. By the end of that day they took all my accumulated hours and I worked 2 39hr weeks in a row and my manager made sure I was out on time each day😂

I get scheduled 30-35 but I always get around 40-45

Tbh I love doing OT and DT. I’m only 5 mins away from my store and I’m kinda the most reliable. At one point I did 60 hours in one week. We have a lot of call outs. Ppl be throwing shade but they’re the same ones who constantly call out or ask me to cover a shift /:. I transferred to my current store before I was getting less than 16 hours because my SM dislikes me

I had a open availability and I haven’t been offered once to stay late or come in early atm. It’s whatever tbh lol I guess they like to suffer than offer me some hours 😂

I feel your pain I was scheduled for 31 hours last week and ended up punching a bit over 50 hours 😢

I haven’t been at Starbucks since before Covid, but when I was a shift, I was usually scheduled 28 but worked 35-40 cuz one of our shifts always called out. Once I requested off a whole weekend for my birthday and ended up working 2/3 of the days

My bux was a couple of years old and having exponentially growth.

Damn. The only time I get more than 22 hours is if I’m training someone that week. I never thought I’d say this working in food service, but we are over staffed at my store.

Yet, whenever you work in a restaurant they bitch about you always almost hitting overtime or hitting it... but always call you in because they need your help

I work in a kiosk in a mall and we get 35-40 hours every week. That’s not counting the weeks we lose people 😃

I like this bc I can make my own hours kinda Pick and choose what shifts I want to pick up

One time I ended up hitting 70 hours after being scheduled 37 lmao

Oh my god I felt this. Scheduled for 31 this past week and hit 42.5 last night, I’m scheduled for training all this week for 32 hours but my shift is out today so I’m coming in early for coverage so let’s see how that goes
