Hey!
So look at the link in an above comment. Starbucks is currently offering 4 hours PTO that's labelled under Catastrophe Pay (so it doesn't affect your sick time hours accrued) for partners who need to call out from their shifts. It's expected.
Just give your manager PLENTY of notice so they can find coverage. Like, the second you know you definitely won't be able to work your shift.
