Starbucks Baristas: The daily grind

As long as we are short staffed, I will be batching Frappuccinos (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by imtired_3333
Look, my store has me on bar my entire shift and the only time I get off is for breaks (which whatever I know many of us can relate). In addition, crying about drive times all day (also okay whatever) AND we’re chronically short staffed... like shut up... I’m gonna batch Frappuccinos. Even when you tell me not to I’m going to say okay and as soon as you leave I’m going to do it again. You cannot cry about drive times, be short staffed and expect me to make an order of 7 caramel frapps one by one. No I’m sorry I will not. Lastly, being short staffed means we hire just anyone which also makes baring hard when they are not ready to dto alone

And I know the die hard OG baristas are gonna come for me but like I don’t care. The pay isn’t worth the stress at this point.
yungxdemise 228 points 2y ago
I always batch... kinda funny but my first Sm actually told me to once because we were so busy! That being said do what you gotta do boo!
taaylorjean 48 points 2y ago
I remember my first time working with my SM and I was on cold bar and she was bar supporting me, I scooted the blender over to get ice and she asked me "how many" for how many was i batching haha
cherrythot 6 points 2y ago
My SM’s wife is also an SM for another store. I’ve talked to her vaguely and she doesn’t let anyone batch at her store, if she sees them she pours them out and tells them to do It right...ma’am I’ve barred with your wife and I think you’d be dumping the blender out on her quite a bit.
chipqueen2532 199 points 2y ago
there comes a point where if I’m getting told not to batch, I’ll just take my merry time and make every individual frap and watch my ssv and the customers get mad. sorry, blame the car and customers ahead of you
FfierceLaw 137 points 2y ago
I think I would say to no one in particular, “Hand crafted one at a time!” for each and every one
foxyfit 82 points 2y ago
Lol I'm just envisioning you cheerfully and loudly announcing this statement with a demented gleam in your eye as you meticulously blend each one while the drive times creep upwards towards five minutes. A beautiful mental image.
FfierceLaw 45 points 2y ago
How does the mission statement go - “Making the moment right . . . one cup . . . at a time” We really mean it! 😉

craftybitchh 14 points 2y ago
That drizzle never came out so slow. 😂
serialsquisher 129 points 2y ago
who tf doesn’t batch?????? we don’t make NEARLY enough to make every separate frap
imtired_3333 [OP] 50 points 2y ago
Ugh I wish. I don’t understand how it really affects the drink THAT much. No one has ever come back and said anything because of this
serialsquisher 74 points 2y ago
as long as you measure the ice, the frap roast and the milk and do the right syrup pumps, it makes ZERO difference
imtired_3333 [OP] 35 points 2y ago
Yes!! I could see why people would have a problem with free pouring stuff but like you’re right. If we’re measuring everything correctly it comes out the same regardless
Stella_2020 11 points 2y ago
Hey, hey, hey I am a free pouring master!! Swear they come out perfect when I free pour and when I measure they are always different 😂
dthomp0806 47 points 2y ago
It doesn't affect drink quality at all. We used to have shitty blenders years ago that would leave ice chunks in the drinks. I bet that's why they started saying no batching. But we have good blenders now and i always batch and every drink is the same quality. Just another way for starbucks to micromanage us.
imtired_3333 [OP] 15 points 2y ago
THANK YOU!!!!
ittybittybakerkitty 5 points 2y ago
We got a new barista trained by our sm/asm 🙄 last night I watched her make 7 caramel fraps for cafe individually. It's 80f outside now, all drinks are cold bar and I was working drive tickets. Honey, I need you to batch those so I can have the blender.
cherrythot 3 points 2y ago
That’s always the downfall of a double bar lol, I need to have the blender pls
serialsquisher 2 points 2y ago
S E V E N ????
NiCommander 102 points 2y ago
If a barista tells you not to batch and that they never to batch, they are probably lying.

(That being said, don’t overdo it (ex: 5 venti fraps, etc))
lobosloboslobos 77 points 2y ago
Everybody knows the limit is 3 venti fraps per blender or else it’ll be a mess
olivinemultichrome 37 points 2y ago
Three venti and a tall, with a shaker lid on top of the blender lid.
TheOnesLeftBehind 25 points 2y ago
I throw a dome lid on top and just toss it after. Much more secure I think.
lmcgregor34 4 points 2y ago
Or a dome lid
rasperries 26 points 2y ago
If they’re all basic frapps with just syrup (ex:caramel frapps) you can fit 4 ventis and just hold the lid shut
lobosloboslobos 9 points 2y ago
I salute the bravery!
Dodobrain38 2 points 2y ago
4 ventis and a dome lid held on top and you’re golden
nervousextrovert 31 points 2y ago
The most I ever got away with before leaving was Christmas two years ago with four venti Frappuccino at 5:59pm before I got to clean for an hour before going home. Victory screeeeeccchhhhh!
LilKaySigs 1 points 2y ago
I say that out of sarcasm
Epic_Winn 71 points 2y ago
The die hard OG’s..? Who do you think invented batching?
imtired_3333 [OP] 50 points 2y ago
LOL you’re right. I guess I just meant the partners that live and breathe by the book but you’re right. Let me respect those who paved the way for me!!!Haha
amazing_redhead 16 points 2y ago
That's how my SM is. Literally getting yelled at for sleeving hot cup that aren't "a water based beverage like a Chai, americano, or brewed coffee or with the modifier of 'extra hot'" or getting shit for not shaking teas or refreshers for enough shakes
SnugBear 15 points 2y ago
We literally sleeve all the hot drinks... I even get some customers who ask for sleeves for their cold drinks so they get a better grip.
C0ffeeCoffeeC0ffee 6 points 2y ago
I've recently started sleeving all hot drinks because I'm sick of customers looking at me like I'm an idiot for not putting a sleeve on their grande honey almond milk flat white and being like "ummmmmm... can I get a SLEEVE???"
potterlyfe 7 points 2y ago
For real! 9 year partner and standards pusher however I batch the hell out of some Frappuccinos! There’s just no reason if you follow the recipe that it shouldn’t taste the same. Towards the end of my sbux career I made drinks however the hell I wanted. They all tasted the damn same in the end anyway.
honeykoala15 5 points 2y ago
So I quit Starbucks two years ago and was a recent rehire and my new location didn’t give me any bar training after being gone for two years and many drinks changing / being added. Needless to say, I just kinda be making drinks how I feel is right. Never get a complaint about an accidental extra pump of syrup here and there so I’m just going with the flow lol
Friendly-Stock2701 50 points 2y ago
Yeah, I don’t know why they started pushing drive thru times so much. They really shouldn’t. People can come in and order. And if you make good connections at the window, you are more likely to get a tip the longer they are there. There was a recent obsession with drive thru times and it’s counterproductive. Besides, half the reason drive thru times are long is because the customer doesn’t know where their credit card is
Ashesremindme 27 points 2y ago
Seriously. The same people who pull up to the speaker and tell you they need a minute and then have you describe in detail 4 different drinks and the difference between them and then order something completely different are the ones who then get to the window, have to search for their card or log into their app, and then after you give them their stuff they have to open straws and hand out everyone's drinks and put their purse away and conglomerate all their previously existing trash before they leave.

Total drive thru time: 8 minutes

Actual time that we have any control over: 48 seconds.
Friendly-Stock2701 17 points 2y ago
Well and in our store, people are more than happy to come in and order, and they do that when they see the drive thru time is long. All I’m saying is that from a customer perspective, the drive thru metric shouldn’t be the only thing that counts.

Plus, add 10 seconds for every time I have to explain why we are out of oat milk or brown sugar.

Unrelated, If Starbucks paid better, they could retain a lot more talent. Had so many people quit this last month. All talented baristas. Which is going to increase drive thru times because of newer baristas naturally being slower.
UnusualCanary 2 points 2y ago
See also: people with multiple orders in the same car. It's called venmo, guys, figure it the fuck out.
xEman26x 37 points 2y ago
Shift here. If I don’t see you batching I’m gonna be like wyd
xMoon_Faeryx 1 points 2y ago
Saaaaame
rudebii 33 points 2y ago
i worked in a high-volume store in socal, we always batched frapps when we could get away with it and most SMs eventually just gave in. Only time we didn't was when the DM was lurking around on a store visit, and those were usually midday, so it was slow enough to blend by the book.
canyonmoonvol6 30 points 2y ago
Are all Starbucks short staffed? Bc we are dying at my store
imtired_3333 [OP] 21 points 2y ago
I think so. I feel like the Starbucks is declining quickly internally.
moohooh 5 points 2y ago
they pretend like paying extra cents for pandemic mean shit when they reduce hours and make sure we're always short staffed. They actually save more that way
kqs13 12 points 2y ago
idk but we have lost people faster then we can hire them at my store lately. 3 people have left this week alone (one was let go, though) and we had someone else leave a few weeks before, and another is leaving at the end of May. and 2 of the people that left are supervisors, so there are only 4 of us supervisors right now, so we are all working extra. we are training 2 people right now but they were to replace people who left last month, so now we have to hire more..
thelizardmorgue 11 points 2y ago
That's what happens when folks have to slave for $9-$11 hourly.
canyonmoonvol6 3 points 2y ago
Before I worked at Starbucks I worked outside the city for a similar amount but the city of Chicago’s minimum wage is $15 i believe. I’m very great full for that and I could see how it may not be worth it for only 9-11 dollars an hour for sure.
JeanLucPicardsAss 6 points 2y ago
Yes but I am told over and over its because we can't put anyone else on the floor, like stbux has a limit and we can't schedule too many baristas. But then every day were begging people to come cover.
xalaskarose 5 points 2y ago
Dude yes my store is dying. Everyone is quitting and we had a job fair the other day just to get people to put in an application and my SM had 3 interviews today, and right now I’m the only trainer available. Don’t know how that’s gonna work! Lol
Summer_dragon 26 points 2y ago
The store I used to work at was so strict about batching. We were a license store and my manager hated batching. If she ever caught us doing it, we would get written up. And at this particular location, 5 write ups meant getting fired (or something along those lines.) Once a week this lady would come in and order 20 Fraps for teachers at the school and would have to wait for us to do them all individually. Oh and we only had one working blender 🙃
SilverXiao 35 points 2y ago
At that point, "standard" is throwing quality out the window. Not only is this lady gonna wait 30 minutes just for each frap but then has to transport them. So let's say an hour from the time she ordered. They'd be melted by that point. Conversely, if you batch blend them, she could get her FROZEN beverages in a timely manner. QUALITY. gotta love the micromanagement that is starbucks
No_Courage299 22 points 2y ago
My SM isn't on the floor enough to know where any of our backups are let alone knowing when we batch frapps lol
kendrasparker 21 points 2y ago
it’s batch or die my dude
mruth0701 19 points 2y ago
my store manager is so strict on everything Except batching. he straight up told me to batch frappuccinos when u get two of the same
the1noir 15 points 2y ago
I worked in a Starbucks in the mall, we sold 90% flaps and 10% whatever else. Batch blending is all we did.
thebeancakes 12 points 2y ago
How people who don't batch look 🤡
cxbar 12 points 2y ago
It’s either I batch these 6 vanilla beans or the customers wait for an extra 10 minutes and yell at us.. which one do the SMs want? like seriously lmao
NOTcreative- 11 points 2y ago
Shoot; understaffed, staffed, or over staffed, batch on partner.
LittleGreenFungus 10 points 2y ago
If they’re two talls? I batch them. 4 talls? Sometimes also batch them. But I def don’t batch more than 2 ventis because then you’re liable to break a blender haha
Millerboycls09 19 points 2y ago
If a full frap pitcher breaks a vitamix, we have bigger problems
HollowRibcage 3 points 2y ago
Our cold bar does this often and the blender broke twice 👀... they essentially were supposed to only do foam in it after the first time but I guess we got so busy they used it for batch blended Frappuccino’s ..so it broke again “-“
Chemical-Less -6 points 2y ago
Lmao bro 4 tall = 2 venti
boothbygraffoe 10 points 2y ago
So, you have basic math skills, but reading and understanding a few short sentences, is beyond you?
Chemical-Less 2 points 2y ago
I MISSED THE "MORE THAN" COS I WAS STONED ASF MY BAD 😭 I'll take the L for it tho
Politicalgeek03 9 points 2y ago
I’m a shift supervisor and aspiring asm. It’s 100% okay to double batch, or even triple, or however many talls you can fit into the blender. If you double batch, connect with the customer, and their drink tastes good... that’s literally the best thing you can do.
darthalp 9 points 2y ago
Does batching affect quality? Why they say don't do it? Not a barista here, just curious
imtired_3333 [OP] 18 points 2y ago
I believe they are suggesting that it does but logically no it doesn’t. When I batch I still measure everything out as we would when making one so it should come out the same (and it does) I don’t know what testing they’ve done to conclude it does affect it but yea it really doesn’t :/
sammiipiie 15 points 2y ago
Lol like years ago after some lady threw a fit about how they tasted different if you batch them, we tested it and literally could not tell a difference. As long as you’re measuring stuff right it doesn’t matter. Same way a venti caramel frap is going to taste the same as a tall or a grande caramel frap. Same with like batch steaming milk. If you have two tall hot chocolates, you can bet imma steam for max size and get em done twice as fast.
Ashesremindme 10 points 2y ago
Yep. If someone orders two talls of the same refresher or iced tea, I'm making a venti and getting it done, too.
Silly_Goose2 6 points 2y ago
Yep, and two grandes as a trenta topped with ice... I mean, wait, no, I would never violate standard!
Dizzy-Half-4477 2 points 2y ago
As a customer I prefer that you batch my orders cuz lord knows if 2 drinks taste different 2 of my kids will be complaining that they have different drinks and if they complain I complain and if you take too long and they get on my nerves best believe I will be leaving no tip. Lol jk on the no tip but as a customer u get my point right?! I have never worked for starbucks but I have been a gold member for about 10 years or however long ago the rewards program started. I only come on to this thread to read the shit customers give u guys and I feel for you guys especially during the holidays like fuck man if you want to complain people make your own effen shit. And that is why I could never work in a Starbucks or food place. It just ain't for me. But I do always appreciate when the employees are trying their best even if it takes longer (most of the time unless I'm in a hurry) but if u guys talk with us while we are face to face and friendly then I'm good.
darthalp 1 points 2y ago
Yeah sounds like it really shouldn't matter
the-troijan-horse 8 points 2y ago
Honestly, if you're keeping the roast/milk/base/ice ratio correct, batching is a pretty good way to ensure all the frappuccinos in an order are consistent. You've got this, finger crossed that your green beans learn quickly and that you get a break from bar soon!
julcarls 7 points 2y ago
Lol I batch whether we are busy, slow, short staffed or not. Frappuccinos are not something I'm concerned about being perfection as a barista. Do I care about coffee? Yeah, I'm actually interested in its quality. Do I care about your blended milk sugar with fart smelling espresso shots? No. I'm gonna batch them so you can have it faster. Guarantee you can't tell the difference in taste.
ttazzyy 7 points 2y ago
i think being told not to batch is one of the dumbest starbucks rules
imathrowayslc 7 points 2y ago
I feel this. Sometimes I feel like my only purpose in life is to blend tall frapps.....
AvoFromCado 7 points 2y ago
I will always batch
sadvibez_x 6 points 2y ago
the only time i don’t batch is if there’s a dm or a home else present. otherwise. batch batch
desxg 6 points 2y ago
I FEEL YOUR PAIN I batch all the time and idgaf who looks. 2 call outs, espresso & cold bar my entire shift, 38 goal second window time GTFO

baristanna 6 points 2y ago
the pay is definitely NOT worth the stress, you’re right. keep doing you, you’re freaking awesome, and killing it!!
hannahvh90 6 points 2y ago
As a SSV I’ll hear an order of Frappuccino’s come through and I always pop over to be like “heeeeey you can batch those like this.....”
DaedraSlayer101 6 points 2y ago
Lmaoooo I feel like less people don’t double batch than do, then again half the people at my store didn’t get a proper training so💀
firepaper 5 points 2y ago
I don’t even measure the fraps at this point, I’ve kinda gotten it down to an art so you can’t even tell but I batchthose too 😅
hannahvh90 4 points 2y ago
Yup 😂
swttangerine 5 points 2y ago
Batching fraps doesn’t ruin the quality in any way
rollerderbydyke 4 points 2y ago
Whenever green beans come on board I look them dead in the eye, say, "Don't do this in front of the district manager. The secret ingredient is crime." and hit blend on my 4 venti caramel Frappuccinos and holding on for dear life.
PandaVike 4 points 2y ago
Pfft I dunno if I’m a “die hard OG” or probably just an “old lady OG” but I will always batch. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
imtired_3333 [OP] 3 points 2y ago
LOL yes I should’ve used a different phrase because as someone pointed out earlier in the thread the OGs created batching. Bless them/you!!!
PandaVike 1 points 2y ago
This whole thread warmed my cold dead, batch-blending heart haha
Canadiansbux 4 points 2y ago
I work in a kiosk, where tops we have 2 people. We always batch frappuccinos. 😁
cringeqween13 4 points 2y ago
My SM showed me the trick with a G/V dome lid and how to batch frapps
66eebotuaj 3 points 2y ago
I never get lucky enough to batch. Order 1 wht mocha frap. #2 carmel frap #3 strawberry frap #4 chai #5 mocha #6 van bean #7 ect....I want to die!
ectbot 2 points 2y ago

Hello! You have made the mistake of writing "ect" instead of "etc!"

"Ect" is a common misspelling of "etc," an abbreviated form of the Latin phrase "et cetera." Other abbreviated forms are **etc.**, **&c.**, **&c**, and **et cet.** The Latin translates as "et" to "and" + "cetera" to "the rest;" a literal translation to "and the rest" is the easiest way to remember how to use the phrase.

my SM is really picky about us batching and will make us dump it out and remake both of them if she sees it (she’s otherwise very very nice and helpful). my old ASM used to say, though, “I’m not telling you to batch but if you did it, I saw nothing, and if anyone asks you, no you didn’t.”
unmagnificentmeg 3 points 2y ago
I told my manager he can’t say shit about me batching once I saw him batch five tall Java chips and two venti mocha fraps for one car
noeyoureatowel 3 points 2y ago
I literally told one of my baristas today that I would be questioning her if she WASNT batching because we ain’t got time for that.
sci-fi-lullaby 3 points 2y ago
Lol fuck no you order 2 or more of the same frap they going in the same blender.
dswalz 3 points 2y ago
What are frappuccinos?

-“Hardcore” Barista
LavanderSkies0930 2 points 2y ago
I’m in the same boat. I’m on bar the entire shift and a batch fraps and don’t shake every single refresher (besides the ones that need it to the point where it will mess up the look of the drink itself) until they get me someone else to help me I’m gonna do it the way I need to get stuff out fast
allyson426 2 points 2y ago
my SM is totally in favor of batching lol, she said to me once “I can’t believe there are stores that DONT batch”
IowaisFake23 2 points 2y ago
Batch or die. ✌️
xbabyvenusx 2 points 2y ago
I love batching it’s like a game
xiew 2 points 2y ago
I remember the first happy hour I worked with my current manager and he looks at me and says “don’t match Frappuccinos” as he pours the milk and frap roast into the blender from 2 cups 😂😂😂😂😂
RoaringDragonite 2 points 2y ago
Oh my gosh hon. You do whatever you gotta do

One time I was on bar and my SM came up to me and told me not to batch. I looked her right in the eye and dumped the entire blender down the drain. Then took my sweet time.

You do whatever you gotta do for you. Good luck! You’re a gem.
Kalhm 2 points 2y ago
You’re not supposed to batch?
AtTheBarMatt 2 points 2y ago
My answer to anything anyone ever says to me is, well you didn't actually train me so how am I supposed to know. I watch all these new baristas get intensive training and babysat for weeks...barista trainer asked me last night if 1 venti and 3 grandes will fit in a blender in front of her trainees. Shit yeah batch em up.
HappilyGia 2 points 2y ago
As a customer, I sincerely thank you for batching!
melllpo 2 points 2y ago
I batch fraps even when we aren’t slammed, and my managers don’t care bc it is ANNOYING to make them
zombiecabbage 2 points 2y ago
As long as my boss isn’t looking, I will be batching Frappuccino’s
marflowr 2 points 2y ago
ngl I was taught to batch from the start. It saves so much time. Sometimes proportions get messed up, but very rarely because as long as you measure everything right , then it shouldn't cause any issues.

That being said, i think my record is 3 ventis
DaedraSlayer101 1 points 2y ago
I- there is no way. I feel like it would explode so fast
kqs13 2 points 2y ago
you can put a grande dome lid on top of the blender lid and it is just the right height to press down the blender lid from the blender shroud. 3 ventis is a regular occurrence for me haha
DaedraSlayer101 1 points 2y ago
THATS GENIUS
marflowr 1 points 2y ago
Nope, but I hold the lid for safe measures
clumsycalico 2 points 2y ago
Ughhh. We’ve only had one working blender for a couple weeks and we’ve gotten way busier with the weather being nicer. But I have extreme anxiety about following rules, even if no one cares or no one is around it still freaks me out to do something that I clearly know I’m not supposed to. But I’ve definitely still batched a few times before when I really needed to lol
LavalampClock 1 points 2y ago
why not batch? if they're the same exact thing and it ain't gonna overflow the pithcher, why does it matter?
Different_Story_2465 1 points 2y ago
Batched two grande matcha crm fraps during peak last week to have a a borrowed partner pour them out instead of handoff 🙃 because he’s “SSV at my store and that isn’t how we do things plz do not ever do that again”
[deleted] 1 points 2y ago
[deleted]
Kittywizarrr 1 points 2y ago
I totally get what you mean! There’s only so much you can do, and if Starbucks wants us to prioritize times, then dammit, we’re prioritizing times!

Also, if I’m batching Frappuccinos, I like to blend it twice or more (equal to the amount of frappes that are being made). If it affects time, then you don’t need to try this. Just that it feels more together and I find less waste aftering the frappes are finished.
Voxxyvoo 1 points 2y ago
ive been at my store the longest. all the new shifts are like "dont cut corners! make every single one individually!"

now they know better. i saw my shift give me the most "you were right and now its the norm" look as she poured 4 tall fraps into the blender
Dzfranken 1 points 2y ago
I'll batch 2 talls...that's it
canidieyet_ 1 points 2y ago
I always batch fraps UNLESS it’s ventis. Batching two ventis scares me bc of a mess (and breaking the blender since it’s been acting off lately)
QueenOfTypos337 1 points 2y ago
my SSV’s say “just dont do it in front of the SM” lol
juju483 1 points 2y ago
The last line!!!!! Yes, it's not worth the stress. NOT batching fraps was looked down on at my store.......I was trained how to do it 🤣
JeanLucPicardsAss 1 points 2y ago
YES YES YES YES
dwightshru 1 points 2y ago
I didn’t even know batching was against the rules
xMelism 1 points 2y ago
Im a coffee master and still batch fraps lol, as if they will taste the difference
femalehomosapien18 1 points 2y ago
I’ve been with starbucks since 2018 and I always batch blend ...
shikiP 1 points 2y ago
I try and batch when I can but I feel uneasy batching anything more than 2 venti fraps coz ppl say it makes a mess
somebodytohug 1 points 2y ago
I had no idea that we weren’t supposed to until today. I was shocked tbh. I just transferred to a new store and one of my shifts was like hey btw, you’re not supposed to do this and I was like huh????? Makes zero sense to me why not
lewabwee 1 points 2y ago
I saw someone at my store not batching once and I was really thrown off by it.

If it made a difference I’d have tons of leftover frap when I’m done but I never do. It’s pointless to fuss over it
donalson 1 points 2y ago
the only time our SM cared about batch blending is if a manager from another store or more importantly the area manager...

we where a small mall store in one of the largest markets in the country... we went toe to toe with the largest 24hr store in our area on frapps so ya... batching was important to get though rush.
mushroomappreciation 1 points 2y ago
Yuuupp
pittiepie 1 points 2y ago
We're a high volume store, and I haven't heard a word about not batching in many months. We can already get behind by 20-30 minutes on cold bar at our busiest... put no batching on top of that?? We'd have to turn mobiles off to even attempt to keep up.
twiIightprincess_ 1 points 2y ago
I always make 2-3 at a time. If I didn’t, I would be told I’m not moving fast enough
Gameb0i6 1 points 2y ago
What is batching Frappuccino’s?
DaedraSlayer101 2 points 2y ago
Batching fraps is essentially putting two of the same kind of frap in the same blender. For example if someone orders 8 venti Carmel fraps, instead of blending 8 different times, you put 2 maybe 3 of those fraps in the same blender and blend them together to reduce the time it takes to make those 8 fraps
Gameb0i6 1 points 2y ago
Ohhh. We do that all the time. It’s too much work to make them one by one tbh.
Objective_Mushroom89 -4 points 2y ago
Ssv here. If I see you double batch your going to remake it. But im also on the other side of the store so...

personally i don't double batch. not because of the beverage quality (it's not really a difference at all in quality) but because i found that it ends up taking longer to get the two batched drinks out than it did to get two individual fraps out as long as you're sequencing correctly. and i used to batch literally all the time i would do it so often for like almost 2 years. sequencing is the thing that makes the difference but if it's faster for you to batch then you do you lol
