green bean question about leaving early (self.starbucksbaristas)

whats the policy for leaving early?
i have to leave around an hour early before my shift ends (i work from 2 to around 6:30, so id need to leave at 5:30) bc my sister has an emergency and needs someone to watch her kids last minute (she cant afford anyone to babysit and her friends arent available to watch them.)
i know i have to find coverage but can i just leave early tomorrow if its a situation where i have to?
(this is my first job and i have anxiety abt leaving early or at all last minute bc i feel so bad ;-; )

Talk to your manager - also look at who is on the schedule and see if anyone can come in an hour earlier or stay a little later for you
