Someone ordered a venti black iced tea with 16 full pumps of classic and heavy cream the other day, so I had to taste the leftover bit. It was awful. It tasted like slightly tea flavored sugar.

I always want to say something when people are clearly trying to do keto when they order those sugar free vanilla and a ton of heavy cream drinks. Like you don't have to do that. I lost literally one hundred pounds in less than a year by just eating less calories. Granted I probably should have done it a little slower (I had a lot of crap going on in my life), but I did it just by eating less of the things I'd normally eat. I get a tall caramel macchiato every day with extra caramel drizzle, and I still did it. There's no need to deprive yourself of the things you like or concoct these monstrosities to lose weight.

Yes this 100% people don’t realize that you don’t need to do crazy diets to loose weight. You just have to have a calorie deficit, and there are things online that’ll calculate it for you even

Venti black tea with 25 pumps of classic and the six pumps of cane, filled it to the water line. I deadass asked her three times for the number. She was getting embarrassed and starting to mumble but I could’ve sworn I was hearing her wrong.

Had a lady with an aspartame addiction at an old store, she would come in every night and get a venti blonde roast with 10 splenda, 18 pumps of sugar free vanilla and 18 pumps of sugar free hazelnut ( years ago when we still had it) only to go to the condiment bar for a taste test and dump however many additional splendas in. We would only single brew a short pour over and even that wouldn't all fit in her cup. When she stopped coming in we all sort of assumed the worst.

A bold coworker asked her about it before he quit and her literal answer was that she had an aspartame addiction and that if she went too long without her fix she began to feel withdrawal like symptoms. It was beyond bizarre.

we have a regular that gets a grande iced coffee with 12 pumps caramel, no classic, and extra cream and it’s like ..... maybe 1/4 a cup of iced coffee - i offered to do light ice one day and he said it was too strong 😭
