What are the weirdest things that you’ve seen in your drive-thru? (self.starbucksbaristas)

my list thusfar:
- a woman with a baby kangaroo
- a woman with a goat
- a very old man with several giant cirilla’s bags
- a woman who threw a fit and opened her car door to set her drink on the curb. (it had 3 shots instead of 4)
- a woman who hit & killed someone near another starbucks. they informed all the surrounding stores so that we could keep an eye out for her & call the police. she seemed very cheerful, so don’t think she knew that she killed someone.
- a man with his fursuit in the back seat

we were out of the sausage and cheddar one day, and when i told a woman that when she tried to order it, her response was "you don't have the sausage mcmuffin???!!!" like no ma'am, this is a starbucks.

A partner from another store came to pick up products early on a Sunday morning so the drive thru was empty and the partner went the wrong way through the drive through. They didn’t stop at the window, quickly drove through and then turned around and went the right way and they were so embarrassed, but it made for a good laugh.

Man driving/picking up his order, woman in the passenger seat actively rolling a joint. Grinder and everything was out on her lap. CA is a legal rec and med state, but I’m not certain on the legality of open rolling in a moving vehicle. 🤷🏼♀️

2 car accidents in the same week involving the car who was in the process of ordering. The first time the white trash lady tried to start a fist fight with the other driver and the second time the person who hit them drove off and fled the scene. My SSV was pissed he had to file 2 incident reports in one week.

Nothing I’ve seen but my Starbucks’ DT line is right next to a very popular fast food chain restaurant here in LA and one time someone came thru and tried to order food from there lol, they thought it was a line for the restaurant

same!! we're connected to a Moe's and from time to time we get people in our drive thru ask if we're Moe's or try to order something from Moe's. we even have people walk into our store and ask if we're Moe's. i'm not sure what short circuits in people's brains to think we sell quesadillas when they come into our store.

Our DT line starts at the end of the strip mall we’re in, right next to a KFC. the amount of times people have tried to order a chicken sandwich meal even after hearing “hi thanks for choosing Starbucks” is off the charts

A sphynx cat, a pet rat in a cage, a plastic skeleton belted in the back seat (I asked if it had a name and I was told I could name him so I named him Steve), and a parrot piñata. That's what I can remember off the top of my head. I'm in Nashville and our location also gets a lot of country stars and occasionally an NHL player.

Stoners. So many... some that were actively smoking joints and wax pens while waiting at the window, some who were just a little silly, some whose eyes were very very red 😂 I don't mind at all except for the ones that were actually smoking 🤦🏾 I'm in Colorado
