You weren’t hired to do deliveries, you don’t have any driving liability set up with Starbucks, and Starbucks hasn’t done a driving record check on you. So no. Your DM is a fucking idiot and is setting your store up for so many issues if anything were to happen to you or your car on the way to this person’s address.
The only exception is if you’re sent to pick up product from a grocery store or other Bux locations in your area, and even then that’s more of a shift or manager’s job. You have every right to refuse.

Just plain no. Your DM must be new.

The stupidity of DMs never ceases to amaze, same as it ever was.

That's an absurd expectation. I wouldn't do it, and I wouldn't ask a partner to do it. And I might call Ethics and Compliance to report this ridiculous request.

No.
If there is an extenuating circumstance the \*store\* manager may opt to coordinate something like this if it is for, say, another business in the same strip mall or something-- but just as a matter of routine it is not a thing-- and it certainly would not be the DMs call.
The more appropriate response is to forward the customer to a store nearer their destination, most stores should be able to remake the order-- and you can always call that store and let them know to expect someone.

Just as aside there is no coverage for your vehicle at work or picking up product, So the delivery is absolutely not covers
I had 2 partners’ cars get rammed into while they were parked in the SB lot and there was zero liability or help from corporate, Nothing. no shifts covered, no rental car nothing. so
