so i think technically it's allowed, my one hesitation would be on the "protection" requirement of shoes. ie, your whole foot is covered with a waterproof material. i'm not sure if a boot would qualify. even if it is allowed, i don't think it's a good idea. you're going to be on your foot all day, which is going to hurt pretty quick and could even hurt the healing process.

You won't be allowed to wear the boot at work. I know taking more time off is rough but the alternative is you doing irreparable, crippling damage to your broken bones. Please call Partner Relations and they will confirm it.

Yeah, one of my coworkers broke their foot and wore a boot. They were really only able to work register for a while but they made it work
