Has anyone taken a gap in between ASU semesters? Does it affect SCAP eligibility? I could use a mental health break over the summer but don’t want to lose my SCAP benefits.

Technically, summer break is already a gap between semesters.
You can skip a semester. The only thing that affects your scap eligibility is your benefits audit. Maybe your academic standing too.

I skipped from fall '20 and started up spring '21 again. Didn't have to reapply or anything like that.
