Hi guys!

I currently work for starbucks as a supervisor while I attend a university to earn by Bachelors in Business Economics. I had looked at available job openings for corporate and thought it would be a great idea to try to move up to corporate once I receive my Bachelors.

With that being said, the work I do in the retail stores are really taxing on my body. It’s possible I have fibromyalgia and I get a lot of aches and pains with all the stocking/ cleaning/ etc. but I really enjoy working for starbucks.

I was wondering if anyone here has moved up to corporate? If so, did you have a gap between your employment at a retail store and your current job? Or did you just move directly on up?

I’m thinking something easier on my body would be better for me right now as I’m exhausted while in school but I’m worried if I quit that I won’t have the chance at a job in corporate.
