That sounds terrible. When it’s popping, you’re supposed to have the best partner possible for every spot and I would never, under any circumstances, turn off both overs while I’m open.

Wait so your shift turned off all of your ovens while customers could still order food that needed to be heated?

Yes. She isn’t a shift, she’s a barista, who’s been working at Starbucks for 3 months, but our new manager had meetings so she left her in charge... even though there was two other baristas present with the capability of leading us

Hopefully this serves as a lesson to your practicing shift lead to never run a shift like that again. Some of this is just face palm obvious bad decision making.
