THIS WEEK, on Things Starbucks Zeroed Us Out On (self.starbucksbaristas)

Last week was FILLED with hard hitting outages such as the horrifying bagel shortage. No one wants a sprouted grain!
Also last week customers were flabbergasted to find that we were once again out of peach, but jokes on them, because on this weeks episode, STILL NO PEACH!
Tune in this week, here’s a few sneak peeks!
This week we’re out of:
White mocha
Peach juice
Strawberry and mango drfrt base
Coconut milk
Soy milk
Whole milk
Our hopes and dreams
Butter and chocolate croissants
Bacon sausage wraps
RFTBs
AND chocolate cake pops

Omg my store is out of our will too live too and for some reason mop heads and rags and Carmel/dark Carmel and a whole bunch of other stuff we ran out of coffee base and cream base for two hours it was nice too tell ppl no we can’t make frappachinnos 🥰

we have no reserves and very limited 1lb bags and this man came in and was like “well do you have ANY coffee?” in a super condescending tone and in my head i was like “oh SHIT. totally forgot to mention we don’t have coffee, my bad”

a lot of the materials in our supply chain were stuck in the suez canal back in March. we're still having ripple effects from that, plus demand for ingredients like white mocha/lemonade/peach/strawberry acai etc is higher than it's ever been thanks to viral tiktok drink recipes

Gotcha. I’m so glad tik tok was not a thing when I was there... we still had weird requests (looking at you “venti pad-of-butter latte”), but nothing like what I’ve seen on here! 😲😢

ugh i miss when "weird" was my one regular who got a hot doppio with some other customizations and nonfat cold foam. she was so far ahead of the cold foam trend!!!

I’m pretty sure we are STILL suffering a bit from the storms in Texas, I think a lot of our stuff is processed and distributed there
