You are not supposed to be on your phone during work, but these licensed store baristas get away with it. Plus its free advertising for super expensive drinks. Nothing will happen about it sadly. Only hope is them posting unreleased drinks and getting in trouble for it. But tbh I would rather have them just stop over losing their job, dont wanna wish that on anyone.

I have one Target Starbucks friend who has a special drink she created, but I only ask her to make it since it’s annoying to order.
It’s especially bad for the employees when you are getting grilled for not knowing fake recipes off the top of your head, and can’t even ring it up if it was based off a current menu item with mods.

These girls were dumb enough to post the store number in their username, 2113. I went through the comments in some of their videos and it seems their team leads enjoy these drinks, but I’m not sure if they know of the videos. Corporate doesn’t like anyone misusing company time. Also, the amount of people saying ‘get a different’ job to the baristas openly commenting against their videos... do they realize the ratio of baristas that want to make these stupid drinks vs those that don’t? I’m not a barista, but this store should be ashamed of what they’re doing to other Starbucks locations for clout.

Sorry for the comment rant, but I don’t want your mental health and ability to handle irate guests to worsen because of shortages and fake menu drinks.

We had someone come to our normal store from a target cafe asking if we had the target dog sugar cookies, and then proceeded to say it was ridiculous that we didn’t have them. Guess I missed out on when target bought out the siren 💀

If it's not on the menu it doesn't exist!! Like I wonder how many people have gone to that tarbucks and asked for one of their creations and they've had to go back to remind themselves how to make it.

I’m pretty sure that licensed locations such as tarbucks can get their licenses revoked due to breaching policy... Such as posting recipes or videos on social media.. I could be wrong tho

The one that pissed me off the most was the Black Panther one where they told customers to ask for mango dragonfruit GROUND UP into white mocha. 🥴

omg one of my drive thru customers cracked me up today. she was yelling about her kids waiting til she gets to the drive thru then try to order “some bullshit they got from tiktok” and make her look like an idiot. the kids were in the back of the car and i was laughing so hard.

a barista who used to work at a tarbux transferred to my very high volume dt store and tried pulling that creating new tiktok drinks bullshit. we immediately put a stop to it because they were ridiculously complicated. she would tell customers “oh if you want it again just ask for [her name] to take your order!” issue is she works 3 super early mornings a week, and we didn’t know how she was ringing them in.
