After many thoughts and frustration, I have hung up my apron and I have not been working for the company for 3 weeks and my mental health has greatly improved. I am happier, I don’t think about work as much as I use to, I am no longer as nervous or tired. It’s been great. If you’re looking for a sign to leave, do it. Changes are good. Apply to other jobs. I wish I would have quit earlier... the only thing keeping me was the health coverage. I am now getting insurance through my state and I feel safe to explore my job options. To those who have that nice shift lead raise.. hats off to you. I understand it’s not easy, but I hope this has motivated some.
