To the customer who gave me a $20 tip today when I was really feeling down. I appreciate you! It's not even about the amount but you made me realize I really need to stop being so hard on my self.

Once I rang a girl up for an extra drink by accident, and brought over my shift to help fix it. The girl was super chill and just took the extra drink, but we gave her a recovery gift card anyway.
She gave back the card ("you guys can use it for yourselves, really!") and handed over another $10 for the tip jar after already having shared something during the initial ring-up.
I wasn't even having a bad day but I swear I was trying not to cry as she drove away.

i had a line of like 10 cars paying for the person behind them, and i told one customer she was paid for as she was handing me a $20 to pay, then she said “oh! then keep the whole thing!”

I love that! It's so easy to look at the negatives I'm happy we're all experiencing some positives
