Customer: I want to try that TikTok drink I saw. I think it’s called the ldkskjshfh
Me: I don’t really know TikTok drinks. Do you have the recipe?
C: it’s iced and sweet
Me: …I don’t know. I’m not on tiktok. I need the recipe to build it.
C: I just know it’s iced and sweet, but I guess I’ll just get my iced coffee.
No hate cause she was nice, but a little dumb. Moral of the story is fuck TikTok

The thing is is that it really be ya own baristas making a lot of these dumb drinks. I’m surprised they don’t get jumped by their coworkers if their TikTok pops off

Oh trust, my manager would have fired me in a second if I had my phone out recording anything on the clock. It totally depends on the store and all the ones I've worked at would have put their foot down real quick if they saw that happening or if it was one of our stores partners that was inventing these drinks.

I know that and you know that, but if they don’t tell me exactly what they want in it I’m not giving them the satisfaction of knowing a “secret menu” item. Sorry girl, secret menu is a secret from baristas too.

At this point, whenever someone orders that, and doesn't call it the tiktok drink, I say "ah! Did you get this one on tiktok?"
