Had a teenage customer come in with her friends and order an iced coffee with vanilla, no cream or anything. So i made it for her but when i handed it off her friends start saying stuff like ew!! What is that!! Why does it look like that! And the girl who ordered was looking at the coffee like it was from another planet so i asked her if something was wrong or if that wasnt what she wanted. She then says "well when i got it last time it was coffee colored, this is like black...." i then had to explain to her that that is the color of coffee without dairy and i could add milk if that was what she wanted but she said it was fine. (I think she wanted a vsccb) Ik not everyone knows that coffee is brewed black but made me laugh thinking about how some people think coffee comes out cream colored.
