Wow. You really missed the point... (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by PingPingPoohole
Some woman came in today and was having an extremely hard time ordering her drink. She was reading off her phone and apologized. "Sorry I'm just looking at a picture of the sticker." I said that it's ok and to just let me see the picture so I could type it in.

Y'all.

It was the picture of the "Edward" drink from the articles. And not just the picture, but she had just pulled up the article and zoomed in on the image. The article is ABOUT how ridiculous the drink is and how much it pisses baristas off. And she does this.

Lord help us.

*EDIT*

She was cool with us not having bananas.

I had a girl show me the picture and ask to order it and I said no. And she looked disappointed but I explained that that doesn’t fit into our larger cup and I couldn’t make it

nah I’m going r/MaliciousCompliance with this drink. Someone tries to order it? okay, spend your $13 whatever it costs, it’s still going in a venti cup and i will dump those extras in front of you. Sorry! Company policy says you paid for a Venti, that’s what you get. No, I can’t put it in a larger cup.

Pleeeaaase! Is there actually a policy that says we can’t put drinks in larger cups for frappes? Or like splitting a venti into two tall. I would love to know I have people ask me to do it to often

absolutely! if they request a tall or grande in a larger cup you can do it. We cannot put a frappuccino’s in trentas, though, and we aren’t allowed to split a venti into two talls, etc.
