my store got swamped from 730 to 10 at a 4 man play and we had made 5000. had to turn off uber eats lmfao. rest in pieces to both of us

Had three people. Cafe closed, drive thru only, sm called the clean play people to come in early instead of doing clean play. Out of caramel syrup, had to buy caramel drizzle at the store, out of mostly everything. I’m on my 10 and I want to go home so bad. I’ve been working everyday since Wednesday and I’m not off until Thursday 🙃

I came in a hour early and we had two others show up early because someone didn’t come in and we were still understaffed for the day, so busy my SM turned off mobile orders for the day and she was standing outside keeping people from coming in because it was getting too crowded and overwhelming for the three of us on bar. Also some lady had the nerve to tell me I should be spending the day with my mother like thanks for reminding me I could be with my sick mother but I’m here helping you instead.

Yep. We had four people and a huge group of softball players that ended with a 42 item cafe order, 23 of which were food that had to go in the oven and the coach telling us that we 'better hurry up' cause they were running late. The whole group had to be asked several times to keep their masks on, and when one of my trans partners asked them to keep them on, they openly laughed and mocked her.

OH!! And a special shout-out to Savannah from that same group!! You came in after and ordered one more item but used your own app to pay before you ripped that mask back off one final time. I wonder if you realized your partner info is linked to your app? Tell your coach thanks for bullying people at 7:00 am on MOTHER'S DAY and also we really appreciate the tip of $0.00!! That was a special kindness I didn't even think deserved at that point.

Why should I have any incentive to make more money for the store if I literally don’t see any of that money in my paycheck? Sure the more people, the more chances for tips, but rarely does that actually amount to much by the end of the week. $1700 half hours and $0 half hours make zero difference to me (except by the end of the first I’m begging for a quick death)

Lol fuck that. I don’t work Sundays but I know that my SM opened today, he knew we’d be busy. He’s actually a really good SM though. I think he’s gotten store manager of the year two years in a row now lol

When I’m the only mother at my store and normally only work 5.5-6 hour shifts on weekends, but today they scheduled me for 8.5 hours for funsies!

We got slammed today. We had six people but we could have used an extra one, maybe two. The amount of mobile orders was crazy, like I was just pulling and pulling and pulling stickers looking for something that all these people in the lobby are staring at me waiting for and it's just mobile, mobile, mobile, mobile, mobile. One mobile order had five frappuccinos in a row and we broke our second blender pitcher.

When we left we were at $4800 in sales I think?

Everyone stayed an extra 30 minutes just trying to catch up and restock all the stuff we went through. Completely crazy.

We’re not understaffed. Corporate just doesn’t give us enough labour hours, especially on weekends. In fact, we’re overstaffed to the point that people are getting second jobs... we have lots of people who need more hours but our SM just hired three more people so I guess she doesn’t care if we get enough hours that we can afford our bills...?

Yup. We turned off mobiles from about 1040- noon, and the level of busyness was still the same. People just came into the lobby. Eventually got caught back up on prep and breaks though. By the time I left we were at about 4500 in sales, and a normal Sunday was around 3000-3500. I don't want to think about if we were somehow able to keep mobiles on.
