For the past couple years, my store has been skirting by on a lot of violations because of disinterest from management. As a result, the SSVs have had to step up to basically unpaid ASM workload, and I (barista) have been filling in for the lack of leadership regarding partner safety.
But with new management coming in, the store is finally on track to fix a lot of issues, and I want to step up and hold the title officially. The only critique I've gotten is the need to work on in-the-moment coaching (my high anxiety isn't doing me any favors).
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this job the best I can? I've read at least 4 entire manuals at this point😂 idk what else to do
tldr: looking for advice on being a good safety specialist
