Me and a few of my co workers started joking around about quitting in protest or going on strike. With the way we are treated, mismanaged, get cut pay, understaffed, abused, yelled at, etc.
Starbucks baristas, hell any fast food industry work is being treated like shit right now. We deserve better. Going on strike would be kinda epic.

I got fired for calling out a boss on not following the DCR and always putting the same people on bar. I was fired the next morning

Yep, On the daily schedule, it’s your position for the day I.e. food, bar, window etc we had people in our store who couldn’t do bar at all, so they’d put them in windows for 2 years. But we made the same wages, I was done stressing, when another employee got to make the same 11 bucks as me and just had to hand out drinks and messed that up on occasion.

Me and my block started joking about quitting. Now we all are lmao. Literally my entire morning block is looking for other jobs/transfer opportunities.

I’m quitting but would be interested in returning if the job improves. I just can’t continue working so hard and being an emotional punching bag anymore. But the benefits are so nice
