There's no such thing as expired shots. It's quite literally a lie Starbucks made up to get us to be faster on bar.
If you go to any independent coffee shop and order an espresso it comes with a small spoon so you can stir it.
In higher ranking barista championships they often wait for the espresso to reach a very specific temperature before tasting/serving it.

i love getting these in a mobile and then getting to tell them when they come to pick it up that no, i will not be putting in milk or anything else (maybe only ice lol) unless they pay for a latte. a lot of these are ppl trying to cheat the system
