of course they put me on drive thru.
On mid. Sol I kept messing up ppls orders so we had to remake them. I was trying to be quick too but drive times were through the roof none the less. Then my partners basically kicked me off dt after 2 hours bc i was so bad at it and sent me off to do dishes. Back on drive and was doin okay, still not getting ppls orders correct sometimes but wtv. And then 10 minutes before my shift end this lady comes thru with a mobile order and she wants to add a mother's day gift card at the window...boy did I fuck that one up. I charged her but she left before her payment went thru.. couldn't figure out how to voice it so i kinda had everybody on the floor seeing wtf I did till a shift came thru and fixed it. I was actually just gonna pay for it myself bc i didn't want someones mom's present to fall thru like that but my partner told me not to... So yeah some girl is gonna give her mom a $25 sbucks gc as a gift and be horribly surprised. Rip.

My advice if you're new is - drive through times do not exist. Do not look at them, do not think about them. Speed will come with practice. Right now, it's just a distraction.

Keep caring, keep doing your best and you'll only get better and better.

You will get the hang of it! We all start somewhere, I’m fairly new to and only helps that I previously worked at a tim Hortons. The only way you will learn is through trial and error and one day you will wake up and be able to pull it off without even second guessing it! You got this!!
