- when grown adults gesture at you for a tray/sugars/whatever instead of using their words
- leaving their trash/creamer cups on the handout plane
- when they list every single modification before the actual drink name
- when you end up asking “anything else?” 4+ times because apparently it’s too difficult to string one coherent sentence together
- double and triple checking that they don’t want anything else and then they ask for a water
- bothering the bar barista for extra multiple toppings and more milk that they didn’t order at the register
- when they ask for a modification after they’ve already started paying
- “can i have a caramel *mumble mumble mumble* “
- bonus: getting mad when you couldn’t catch that last part
- people who come in regularly and still do not understand that we have to input a name before you can start paying
- people who think you can order at the drink hand-off counter.... please tell me who raised you to think that big cash registers mean nothing
- if you order a shaken espresso with light ice or no ice, just know that the barista hates you. just order a fucking latte with brown sugar & oatmilk
- when you’re repeating back a lengthy order to make sure it’s right and the person interrupts you before you’re even done..... (if you’re getting this upset over coffee, reconsider your life choices)
