I hear ya... Chronic understaffing and micromanage-y managers are the stories of the year at my store. It truly is exhausting, both physically AND mentally. One can only give so much... Just know that **you're not alone**! Glad you could vent a bit :)

We usually have 3 partners open - one being a shift. It was just me and the shift opening. I had to run the whole floor during the beginning of peak alone while they took a 10. Today was an unprepared launch day

At the end of it all, you're doing what you can with what you've got. Whether or not others appreciate your work is another issue, but you should be proud of what you've accomplished through all the understaffing bs and whatnot.

I'm proud of my fellow baristas, and we'll hopefully see better times ahead. I hope we can convince people in charge to step up and be more accountable in the meantime.
