Starbucks Baristas: The daily grind

So i applied to a few Starbucks locations and one of them called me back last Thursday on the 6th, the Store manager called and gave me a prescreening as he said. I haven’t heard from this location since then, I’ve called in the ask the status of my application and the Shift Supervisor said he’d leave a note but that was already a few days ago. Any recommendations of what I should do?

definitely keep calling or dropping into that location. the more you show interest, the better opportunity youll have compared to others who submit the info and just wait...
it took me about 2 years of trying to get a job at starbucks. its pretty competitive to get into, but once youre in- youre in and your position can lead you anywhere.i got the job, and have no real training other than register. ill hop on cold bar when its slow so i can train myself, but no experience on hot bar... not even my first sip! ugh it angers me about this location, but i took what i could get and ran as far as i could with it.

that definitely worked, I called today just to test my luck and he said he would be looking at applications tomorrow, and then he called me back like 5 minutes later and just asked me to come in for an interview tomorrow!

update: the shift supervisor called me and said the manager had to reschedule my interview to Monday at 3, will keep you updated

update: had my interview and the manager said he was gonna go through with hiring me so now im getting the background check done!
