Tons of people clopen. Some crazy people prefer it. Ive seen a barista close, get out at 1130, be back at 545 to open. Idk how legal it was.

Happened to me this last Tuesday actually. So we had clean play on Tuesday night so we stay until 10 and deep clean the whole store and then I was schedule for 6:30am to 12am the next day and I first didn’t think anything of it until my partners told that it really shouldn’t be allowed and to talk to my SM about it.

Anyways long story shorts my SM is kind of like sorry not sorry it happened can’t really do anything and said that it’s policy to have 8 hours in between shifts not 12 and all I can think is, great so they expect me to fall asleep as soon as I clock out to be fully rested for 6:30am.

Ended up coming in and it wasn’t the worst thing, but I turned in my two weeks a day that day lol and am stepping away from Starbucks. Another long story short I was an outside hire for SSV and hated it from literally the first day and ended up putting my two weeks after working like two weeks, so to my SM.... sorry not sorry.

youre required to get minimum 8 hours between shifts, so technically theyre allowed to do that :/
