I worked for Starbucks during 2014-2016 in Atlanta.
Today while being back at another Starbucks where I temporarily work, I was told that the CVF has Vanilla Bean Powder?
I was taught that the vanilla bean frappe only had powder while the Cafe Vanilla Frappe used to use vanilla syrup pumps.
Anyone who also worked during these times please explain.

i only know as far as 2016, but caffe vanilla fraps definitely had vanilla bean powder then and now. im not sure if before that, maybe it was different, but its standard vanilla bean now :) 💗

I worked at Bux in the times you specified (from 2004-2017) and CVF was supposed to have vanilla bean powder. Once we started doing VBF with vanilla bean, CVF also got vanilla bean

I’ve worked off and on between 2015 and the present, deffo always had VB powder.
If it makes you feel any better, I just learned two days ago that classic hot chocolate doesn’t get a pump of vanilla like I was trained lol.

Yeah that hot chocolate change was new to me too. I always thought the pump of vanilla made sense because the chocolate syrup is fairly dark.

The hot choc change is a new 2021 decision

I started in 2015 and as far as I know it’s always been vanilla bean powder in cafe vanilla fraps

Thanks everybody for the responses! I learned the other day from a partner whose only been here 1 year. Who knows how many other drinks I’ve been making wrong...

I’ve been with the siren since 2008 and the recipe since then has always called for vanilla bean powder in the CVF.
