I was actually struggling on bar the other day, and my store manager popped in to help with fraps! I was so surprised. I’m sorry this video is usually the case though :/

I agree. And I’ll start off by saying I’m not a manager But, There is always that one manager who sees it go to shit, and actually jump in the frontlines and take on areas that are causing a slump.

I love our managers, they always help out when needed even when they are on Admin hours. Our district manager has even come over on especially bad days and helped out. I’m very thankful they are awesome people.

My temp manager helps but looks like a headless chicken. She also stresses everyone out because of said running around like headless chicken. This manager sucks for this and so many other reasons. Can’t wait for my real manager to come back from maternity leave😭

That was us today. I work at a Cafe store and we hit 40 customers in a half hour twice back to back. Technically 4 part but was basically 3 part for the whole thing. Green bean rocking it on register.

Let me preface this with the fact my manager was already 45min-ish late.
We're in the middle of peak the other day and I come out from the back from calling another store for product. She decides that the right time to go get new product is right in that moment during peak. When I told her they had it she literally just walked off the floor and was like "okay guys I'll be right back".

This is hilarious but luckily my sm jumps in.

As a regular barista I don't know how someone cannot help unless they're in a meeting with the DM. Ill be on customer support and have to stop myself from dropping everything and start making drinks. Seeing all the empty cups gives me anxiety.

When a friend of mine was asked if he wanted to become a shift manager, he was like “it can’t be that hard, you check the clipboard when you walk in then go in the back room for a few hours” 💀

The whole ass reason I left. Stacked morning shift so she could sit in the back on her laptop & leave early. 2nd shift got fucked.

Funny, and sadly true at times. Proud to not be this type of manager lol
