Back in February I talked to my manager and arranged to have two weeks off after school because I was burnt out. Today, the last day I was scheduled to work before my break, I decided to make it my two weeks’ notice in the last fifteen minutes on the floor. I went from thinking I’d be here weeks and weeks more to walking out the door for the last time within an hour. It was pivotal. And freeing.

Been here 3 years, was my first job, I grew up here. My store and my partners shaped me into who I am. I will always appreciate them and the partners who love this job, I know I did for the longest time, became a trainer, almost went for SSV.

But eventually it’s time to move on, and I wanted to leave before I become bitter. So here’s to everyone who makes this job fun, you guys are the real ones <3 This job can be the best or the worst at times, and partners handle the worst treatment with a smile on their face. We deserve so much more and I hope you all know that and treat yourself as such. Don’t accept anything less.
