Yup, the learning curve can be pretty steep, but it’ll get easier with time. My best tips (not that I even always follow these): work on delegating tasks (this is a huge weakness of mine), work on focusing on what you’re doing (I struggle with this because when I’m overwhelmed I’ll bounce around and try to do everything - just focus and then move on when you’re done!), I always have goals for when stuff should be done by (toddies/cold brew by 3, pull at 4, floors at 5, temps at 6, milk at 7 for example - helps me stay on track). Lots of this depends on your store volume though, I come from a pretty mid-range volume store. Oh also, don’t stick yourself in a position for too long. Move around! You’ll be more aware of what’s going on and can help your team more.
All right, sorry if any of this advice is bogus, it’s just what’s been working for me lately. And uh, I’ve been a shift for a long ass time, and I don’t have it together all the time at all. So don’t be too hard on yourself :)

Honestly, like everything else at this job, it takes time! Buddy up with the other shifts and ask them for tips/questions. I’ve been a shift since January and I still occasionally text the other night shift for questions. Just stick to it and keep moving! Talk with your store manager too. See if they can schedule you on a shift with another SSV so you can watch what they do and ask questions.
Good luck!! It gets easier! Becoming a shift was so nice for me! Super stressful at first, but so nice now. And the pay is good👌🏻
