All it meant was we were allowed to wear things otherwise not in the dress code, we had Pink Day, Pajama Day, Super Hero Day, Safari Day, etc. Well, the announcement about masks late Friday totally soured the frivolity. I still wore my Batman shirt today but no fun, no group pics posted on our group chat ever since that announcement. And then it made me realize that "Partner Appreciation" was only a dress up opportunity, Sbux did nothing otherwise for us, like buy us pizza, etc.
