I’ve consumed more alcohol than coffee in the past 6 months.

I wasn’t great before, but it’s definitely starting to make things worse

A customer flipped over their table at me two days ago, resulting in a busted toe nail. My toe doesn’t hurt any more, everything was documented properly with starbucks and authorities. But I don’t want to go back to work.

When getting hit by a car sounds better than going to work rn

already have one, and this job is making it much worse 🤦🏻‍♀️ (a couple ssvs, customers, and faster faster faster)

Making me? Shit it’s the cause.

i got called useless and worthless in the drive through yesterday because we were out of dragon fruit... i have never smoked more weed in my entire life than i have working at this job for a year

The pandemic killed my love of this company... Starbucks showed its true colors when it comes to their priorities and how they really feel about their employees through the last year. I'm just finishing paying off a bunch of debt and then I'm out. I can't wait. I'm so tired of working 7 days a week... I got to the point a few months ago where I couldn't do it anymore and started scheduling one weekend off a month for mental health.

🙋🏼‍♀️, mentally and physically... I’m trying to implement a slowdown at my store, less of a strike but still may get some points across. I no longer will over exert myself for the benefit of the all mighty customer.

Before Sbux, my vice was caffeine and tobacco. Now it’s caffeine, tobacco, alcohol, my prescribed medication, and.... other things for energy and escape.

But it’s not just Sbux. All good service is just a bunch of functioning addicts who hate people. Lol

I've always been mentally ill but now I'm mentally ill with stress hives from this job ✌️

The consumer world worries me.

This is literally how I've been feeling since January. I've got one semester left of school but I'm qualified enough to start in the bottom of a new industry so I'm applying right now!!

I really hope you can hold out and end up fine. I've been here 3 years and this last year and a half has been TESTING all of us.

When I was at a much much much higher volume store than I am now I was on 6 blonde shots a day and genuinely almost walked out the door and into traffic after some bad customer interactions. That was right before the pandemic hit and since moving to a licensed store that’s much quieter I’m definitely doing better but it’s still kind of really ass here

Yes. Too bad this state has no cannabis. Not legal at all.

I quit for this exact reason. I miss making drinks and obsessively cleaning because I’m OCD and it was satisfying for me, but honestly beet decision I made. I like Starbucks, but the people make or break it. The problems go farther than even my district manager at this point though, and it’s really disappointing seeing how we really aren’t valued. This company isn’t worth your serenity. It’s just coffee! F anyone who says otherwise, including corporate-brainwashed managers.

I quit for that exact reason.

what’s making it bad for you guys?? I love going into work but we have such a positive vibe and like everyone loves everyone and we only have 2 bad shifts. but even then like that doesn’t make it awful
