I think our store is broken (self.starbucksbaristas)

So a couple days ago, one of our espresso machines broke. It got called it, the repairman broke it worse, and we called in again to get it on the priority list since... it’s an espresso machine for a near-the-beach store as summer approaches (our store is not considered high volume, but sales have been increasing and I think I heard we’re on track to become one).

After 48 hours, the guy who was supposed to come within 24 hours still hasn’t arrived. Our SM calls facilities about it.

A second espresso machine breaks. We now have 1 functional espresso machine, and our store is arranged in a way that it’s the furthest one from ice bins and syrups. We are out of venti cups. We soon run out of trenta cups. Everyone keeps calling out. We live in hell.

I will never understand how repairs take 8 hours to days to arrive.
