My paystub says Ben/LOA hours:259. What are LOA hours? I’m an ASU student so I get worried about if I get sick or if I need to travel for family or whatever and falling below 20 hours a week. What do LOA hours do? If I were to get sick or need to do something or whatever and took time off as a LOA, would those hours count towards my hour audit? help

LOA means leave of absence. Benefit and leave of absence hours are essentially the same thing. benefit hours are the amount of hours you’ve worked that go toward you maintaining your ASU scholarship and/or health insurance. if you need to take an LOA it depends on if it’s a personal or medical leave and the amount of hours you have worked grant you a certain amount of LOA hours.
