So my store lifted the mask mandate for "vaccinated" people in accordance to our states guidelines, and I had to do the concierge position today... and although I myself am vaccinated it still made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable to be standing in the cafe with no protection from mask-less "vaccinated" customers, besides my own mask. I'm extremely disappointed that Starbucks did not continue to keep mandating masks, and jeopardize the health of their own employees. I am not willing to put myself next to mask-less customers who get way to close to my personal space for a couple dollars over minimum wage. the expectations Starbucks has for us as employees vs. what we as employees hold them accountable for is very disproportionate. If Starbucks continues to set such high standards for us baristas we need to set the same for this lousy corporation that would be nowhere without us.
