Does regular cold foam any syrup? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I ordered a venti iced cold brew, 3 pumps of sf cinnamon dolce, splash of heavy cream, add unsweetened cold foam.
The first time the cashier misheard me and I got sweet cream and vanilla cold foam instead. I asked for it to be re-made and the label was correct this time but I saw the barista put pumps of syrup when she blended the milk for foam. I’m diabetic and I like to be able to account for all of my sugar intake. Just wondering if perhaps it’s my phrasing or understanding that’s incorrect. Thanks!

Oh my gosh, my entire store has forgotten that this is a thing. I am assuming the previous commenters are correct & we have mistakenly been making “cold foam” with nonfat milk only, no vanilla syrup...

On my shift here, I was curious about this so I looked it up. Non-fat milk, 2 pumps of vanilla. This was recently changed January 2021. (I thought it was 2% milk and no syrup.. oops .-.)

you can definitely ask for no vanilla in it, or you could sub sugar free vanilla syrup instead, either way they can make the note on your drink!

There isn’t a button for it. We have one for “cold foam” and one for “vanilla cold foam” so you will have to specify cold foam made with only _____ milk no vanilla :) it’s not a common ask so your store might take a moment to catch onto how you like it :)

The standard for regular cold foam is nonfat milk (which still has some sugar) and 2 pumps vanilla. To be specific, just ask for regular cold foam with no vanilla, or sugar free vanilla :)
