okay so me and one of my shifts/friend got into a debate today about this and i need your help lmao. so there’s a drink people get a lot, it’s the strawberry açaí with heavy cream and 2 scoops of vanilla bean. we fought about whether or not to charge it as the strawberry açaí (w water) and charge for the heavy cream that way, or to just charge it as a pink drink and (still) charge the heavy cream. how do you ring up this drink? we asked our ASM and she basically said we’re both right in a way but i need to make sure IM RIGHT
also this is a contest between me n him whoever loses has to do a drive thru slide 😭

i would say strawberry acai no water sub heavy cream. technically, the price of the pink drink includes coconut milk and then charging for cream would charge them for coconut milk AND heavy cream :)

No need to charge them for the coconut milk, then charge the heavy whip (in addition to the vanilla bean). I vote Strawberry acai, no water, heavy cream, vb.

I ring it up as the order it. If they say pink drink, I hit pink drink. If they say Strawberry Açaí Lemonade, no lemonade, add heavy cream then I do it as that.
Someone once ordered this as a pink drink but I rang it as a refresher and they were mad when they saw the ticket. They just get whatever they ask for now.

I usually ring it up as a strawberry açaí no water sun heavy cream add yadda yadda yadda. I feel like that’s how most customers order it so that’s exactly how I charge them.

I always ring this up as a pink drink sub heavy cream with the button that doesnt charge for heavy cream
Never checked if theres a cost difference if you ring in strawberry acai and charge for the heavy cream.

I don’t think I’ve seen this one yet, my brain would probably go to charging as a pink drink, but seeing the other comments makes sense too. I’m more curious, what’s a drive thru slide?

lol it’s when you pick up the trash thats in the drive through, no one likes doing it bc our dt is always super busy and there’s always someone staring

Ahh..that makes sense, one of our shifts would usually do that or send us out when it wasn’t busy, but I can’t remember the last time I saw one of us do it while I was working...oops
