There’s a woman who always came in and never wore a mask. If we asked her to put it in she would argue and then hold it against her face (nothing was wrong with the mask, just making it harder for herself tbh) as she ordered and waited in her drinks. Seeing her walk out cradling two drink carriers, a purse and holding a mask against her face was a sight to see
Literally after we no longer require masks she walks in, wears it NO PROBLEM. Like I’m glad she wore it but really???

Lol there’s a conspiracy theory going around that basically all the anti maskers/anti vaxxers need to wear masks around vaccinated people so then proteins or some shit that comes off vaccinated people don’t infect them. It’s ridiculous lol.
If I had faith in people at all I’d love to assume someone infiltrated the conspiracy community to do good with this rather than it being just ridiculous.

I mean... even if it’s a dumb conspiracy theory I’m happy they are atleast wearing masks since they’re not vaccinated. Must be why I noticed a lot of people wearing masks that didn’t before at my place of work...

That’s kind of along the same lines as all the anti-maskers not listening to the CDC about needing to wear a mask, but now that the CDC says people don’t need to wear them they want to be like “well they said we don’t need masks anymore” *eyeroll*. I was glad on Monday when I worked I encountered very few customers not wearing masks inside, and still had many wearing them in drive thru, but I’m curious how it will be tomorrow because I’m assuming our signs probably got taken down by now :/

Our signs have been down since we got word about it. Honestly most of our customers have still worn masks and asked for one if they didn’t have one. One guy even walked in without one and ordered, realized we didn’t hound him for it and goes “shit, I wasn’t wearing my mask! I’m so sorry guys! I swear I’m fully vaccinated, I wasn’t thinking 😭😭”
I went to store closer to my house tho and there was a lobby FULL of people and I was the only one with a mask 😣
