You'll sit down at a table with the hiring manager and will answer some questions that will occur over the duration of approximately 15-45 minutes. They will likely offer you a free drink when you arrive; I would take it. If you're not a coffee person, there is lemonade and apple juice and refreshers and teas.

When the interview is over, they will likely tell you either, "I will follow up with you [in x amount of time]." Wait that time period. If it's like a Monday and they say they'll reach out on Friday, *wait until Friday* and if you don't get a call by end of day Friday, then *you* need to call *them* and follow up yourself.

If you're hired, the background check typically takes a couple days, sometimes at most a week. Rarely, it may take longer. Once that goes through, you're hired, and the SM will guide you the rest of the way.
