Wearing head scarf at work (self.starbucksbaristas)

So I am quite new to the Starbucks, well everything. But I was wondering if I could wear a head scarf to work? I am not muslim and it is not a hijab, but to be honest I am a witch and I sometimes veil for emotional protection/ various religious reasons. Is this allowed? I wear it in a simple bandana way or even in a way where the fabric is hanging off my head but still secure, is this within dress code?

Starbucks is very open with allowing thing for personal belief reasons. As long as it’s the correct color there shouldn’t be a problem unless it’s freely hanging around your face. as long as it’s secure there should be no problem but i would still double check with a shift or store manager

Okay, thanks! It would be secure around my face but might hang down my back a little bit..I might just secure it up on my head instead

on your back it should be fine, similar to hair rules, as long as it’s back it should be fine. ponytails hang loose behind people so the veil should be perfectly fine

If you're in the United States and the veil is for religious purposes, not only are you allowed to wear it, but your right to wear it is protected. Unsure about other countries.
I would say as long as it isn't hanging down in front of your face (as in, tucked in the back, like a low ponytail!) you should be totally fine. Just need to make sure it can't dip into peoples' food or drink!
