What are some Good Shorts/pants for summer to wear at work? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by bdhenriq
So summer is obviously coming soon (I’m in Canada) and my store has a HUGE issue with the temperature in the store. We’re a very HIGH VOLUME store. Like very high volume, our SM is always asking for extra coverage or getting borrowed partners to come in and give us the extra help. So Ofc having 8 ppl on the floor and the non stop rushes we get pretty hot and sweaty! And with summer coming up and the temperatures rising I wanna know what are some good shorts to wear (obviously that follow dress code) for reference I’m a 5ft girl! Any recommendations would help! Thanks in advance :)

I know you are looking for shorts so I’m hoping someone else had an answer because i need some too! But if you’re comfortable, i buy long t-shirt dresses from old navy and just wear like running shorts underneath!

Female barista here. Also a 5’1” shortie.

I bought some nice$1 from Costco recently. Nice material

For the more feminine-dressing baristas: I also have a couple pairs of these $1 because they are comfortable as hell for both my office job and Sbux

Disclaimer: I am a Costco member but I don’t think you have to be a member to order these ones from the website (I logged out and searched and still could find them)

\-cut off jeans to the length of dress code req. are your best bet
\-a dress or skirt with leggings underneath work well
\-khaki dickies are usually of length
\-capris work great for my store.
its getting hot here too and i realized "jeggings" are working decently for us, but as the temps rise the clothes want to be dropped lol good luck
