I thought they changed our tip declaring process and updated our whole pos systems to accommodate for tips through card. So........what’s taking so long? Did I miss a weekly update?

Starbucks has been "working on" accepting tips through card for over 13 years. It's not happening.

that update was for digital tips through mobile orders and the app. previously, digital tips were cashed out from the tills and dropped in a tip bag, where as now, it goes directly to you paycheck.

SB has no plans to take tips on CC bc it would slow things down in the DT.
They changed the tip system to benefit and protect corporate not to get more $$$ to baristas,

lol but surely it can’t be that hard to incorporate a way to tip when paying with a credit/debit card
