As a shift CS because I can get things done quicker 😭

Do I love bar and making drinks? Yes. But when I'm on bar and someone who sucks at CS is on there, I literally go into meltdown mode because the way my ADHD and anxiety process stimulation, I really, really cannot deal with tasks piling up. I broke down today and begged my SSV to move someone else to CS around the time I went to grab a rag and it had crusted whipped cream on it that made me want to throw up to touch. My mind just starts to whirl with "dishes, sani water, refill beans, need more frap roast, need more white mocha, need more lids, trash on floor, trash can full" etc. and I visibly start freaking out when I'm not in control of getting tasks done. (I'm actually trying to transfer to a slower cafe store because the chaos of DT is too much for me).

I also really just need the freedom of movement and HATE not being able to grab a drink.

Thankfully, I'm someone who flexes well and am moved around a lot (which I love- some days I do every position and it's really fun; when a shift asks where I want to go, usually it's "wherever" so long as I'm not doing floors lol).

Am I the only one who loves CS 😭😭

My store just leaves me on bar all day but I love cs. Sometimes I don’t want to work so I mess around on cs everything gets done. Today I did a 8 hour shift and was on bar the whole time 😩

CS is baller depending on your store. If you have to actually cycle and shit it’s ass but if you’re more of just a floater and support it’s the best position imo. doing CS as a borrowed partner at another store sucks tho cuz you don’t know their store and how it works

Fuck bar, i used to make actual latte art, not fucken Frappuccino’s and tik tok drinks. Now days ill take cs any day. Fuck me dead...
